RAW MATERIAL 14 kg Williams Pears and Cognac 1er Cru Grande Champagne

DISTILLATION The pears, from the Black Forest region, are picked in the fall when they reach full maturity and when their skins take on an amber-pink color. They are kept cold while waiting to be used to produce the natural aroma, obtained by macerating the fruit in a small amount of Williams Pear distillate. Through a rotary process, an extremely concentrated pear juice is extracted. It takes 14 kg of pears to produce a 70 cl Liqueur Poire au Cognac. The liqueur is made from the assemblage of Cognac 1er Cru Grande Champagne natural aroma of Williams pears, sugar syrup and distilled water

COLOR Intense amber

AROMA Combines the olfactory scents typical of Cognac with the fruity aromas of Williams pears.

PAIRINGS Excellent as a digestive, but if served very cold together with 2/3 of Champagne, it is also delicious as an aperitif

TASTE In tasting it offers a unique and harmonious mélange

AGEING Minimum 2 years in white oak barrels
